Chewy Vites are chewable gummy food supplements for children and adults, made in fruit flavours and, in most of the range, from real fruit juice or fruit pectin rather than gelatine. The line covers everyday multivitamins, immune formulas, magnesium, omega-3, probiotics and prenatal support. They are intended to complement a varied, balanced diet, not to replace it.
What age are Chewy Vites Kids gummies suitable for?
Ages are set per product and are printed on each pack. Kids Multi-Vit + Probio and Kids Brain Support Omega-3 DHA are both stated as suitable for children aged 3 and over. Always check the individual pack before giving a gummy to a younger child, and supervise chewing with small children.
Which Chewy Vites gummy should I choose for my child?
It depends on what you are trying to cover:
- Broad daily cover with added cultures — Kids Multi-Vit + Probio, which provides 11 essential nutrients plus 1 billion cultures per gummy.
- Broad daily cover without cultures — Kids Multi-Vit Advance, an 11-nutrient one-a-day including vitamins D, A, B12, folic acid and biotin.
- Winter and school-term immune cover — Kids Immune Support. Six nutrients — vitamins B6, B12, C and D plus zinc and selenium — help maintain your child's immunity.

What is the difference between Kids Multi-Vit + Probio and Kids Multi-Vit Advance?
Both are one-a-day, mixed-berry, 11-nutrient gummies. The difference is the cultures: Multi-Vit + Probio adds 1 billion cultures per gummy — Bifidobacterium infantis and Lactobacillus — on top of vitamins A, D, E, C, niacin, B6, folic acid, B12, biotin and pantothenic acid. Multi-Vit Advance is the straight multivitamin without the cultures, and is usually the cheaper of the two.
Which Chewy Vites are made for adults?
How many gummies a day should I take?
Most of the range is one a day, which is why a 60-gummy pot lasts roughly two months for a child. Some adult products differ — Cranberry + Probio is taken as two gummies daily, so that pot is a one-month supply. Check the dose on the pack you buy and do not exceed the stated daily amount.
Are Chewy Vites suitable for vegans, and are they gluten-free?
Several are labelled vegan, non-GMO and gluten-free, including Kids Multi-Vit + Probio, Kids Brain Support Omega-3 DHA and Super Foods Apple Cider Vinegar. Cranberry + Probio is gelatine-free and suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Because the range is broad, check the specific product page or pack if you follow a strict diet.
Can I take Chewy Vites Prenatal while pregnant?
Chewy Vites Prenatal Multi-Vitamin is formulated for pregnancy, with a high folic acid level plus iron and vitamin D. Folate contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy, iron contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, and vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal bones. Do not take it alongside another multivitamin without checking first — particularly products containing vitamin A or retinol. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or under the care of a maternity team, run it past your midwife, GP or our pharmacists first.
Which Chewy Vites help with digestion and gut balance?
Three options in this collection contain cultures: Adult Probio-Support, Kids Multi-Vit + Probio and Cranberry + Probio. Cranberry extract is rich in antioxidants and helps promote a healthy urinary system, while the added Lactobacillus cultures help maintain digestive balance. Super Foods Apple Cider Vinegar is a different approach again — it delivers 500mg of apple cider vinegar with 100% RI vitamin C to support metabolism and reduce tiredness.
Can I combine two Chewy Vites products?
You can, but watch for doubling up. A multivitamin already contains vitamin D, zinc and B vitamins, so stacking it with an immune gummy can push some nutrients well above the reference intake. Pairing a multivitamin with a single-nutrient product such as Adult Magnesium is usually more sensible. If you are on prescription medication — especially blood thinners, thyroid medication or antibiotics — check with our pharmacy team before you start.
