Which Easolief Duo should I choose?
It comes down to format and strength. The tablets are the easiest to keep in a bag or a drawer and need nothing but a glass of water. The hot drink sachets dissolve in hot water, which some people prefer when pain comes with a cold or a sore throat. Max Strength is the same hot drink at double the strength per sachet, so a single sachet is a full dose. The three are not taken the same way — check the individual product page and the pack before you take any of them.
What is the difference between the Hot Drink and the Hot Drink Max Strength?
Strength per sachet. The standard Hot Drink contains paracetamol 500mg and ibuprofen 150mg; Max Strength contains 1000mg and 300mg — double. Because each sachet is stronger, the number you can take in a day is lower, so the two are not interchangeable sachet for sachet. If you switch between them, read the pack again rather than carrying over what you did with the other one.
Can you take paracetamol and ibuprofen together?
Yes. They relieve pain in different ways and can be taken at the same time, which is what Easolief Duo does in a single dose. What matters is not adding anything on top: do not take any other product containing paracetamol or ibuprofen alongside it, including cold and flu remedies, which very often contain paracetamol. Taking too much paracetamol can cause serious liver damage, and the damage isn't always obvious at the time. If you're unsure whether something you already take counts, ask our pharmacy team.
Is Easolief Duo suitable for children?
No. Every product in the range is for adults over 18. For younger age groups, see our baby and children's pain relief range, where products are dosed by age and weight.
